Description

This Amethyst crystal cluster in from the Namaqualand region of the Northern Cape province of South Africa.  It features a variety of crystals, some double terminated, in a  intertwined cluster.  The colour of the amethyst is mostly dark with some lighter coloured crystals.  The crystal are mostly undamaged with some minor damage from where it was removed from the matrix.  This piece has a flat base making it easy to display.
