Shattuckite is a copper silicate hydroxide mineral with an orthorhombic crystal system and a hardness of 3.5. It is found in copper mines in Argentina, Congo, Namibia, South Africa and the USA. Shattuckite assists in understanding and communicating information from Spirit. It can open one’s psychic channel, enabling one to “hear” messages from inner guides and teachers as well as the spirits of the deceased. If one wishes to work as a medium, Shattuckite is an ideal ally. It vibrates to the tone of truth, so it can also aid in making sure one’s interpretations of messages from the “other side” are accurate.
Shattuckite stimulates the throat chakra, enhancing one’s skills in communication. Shattuckite’s highest use is in the communication of wisdom and information from the higher realms. It facilitates the practice of automatic writing as well as vocal channeling. It helps one find the right words to express the communications from spirit guides and teachers. It facilitates one’s sense of synesthesia and can stimulate mental and intuitive abilities. This makes it most helpful for those studying intuitive disciplines such as astrology, tarot, runes, palmistry, the I Ching and other oracular guides.
Shattuckite works well with Turquoise, Chrysocolla, Larimar and Ajoite for throat chakra activation. For stimulating the third eye, Phenacite, Natrolite, Lazulite and Merkabite Calcite are ideal stone allies.
