Fairy Quartz is found near Boukenhoutshoek in Mpumulanga, South Africa at the same site where Spirit and Cactus Quartz. Fairy quartz differs from cactus quartz in that it has a fine druzy coating where the cactus has larger points in the secondary growth over the original quartz crystal.
