Orange River Quartz Cluster with Calcite

Hematite in Quartz Cluster with Calcite from the Lower Orange River Region of South Africa

At first glance the piece looks a bit rough but on closer inspections one can see hematite inclusion and a formation of calcite.  Some of the crystals have hematite phantoms and there a numerous smaller crystals, hematite coated and some clear.  Not the most lustrous piece, one can spend a lot of time finding all the interesting bits on this cluster.
