Small cluster of amethyst crystals from the Namaqualand region with a secondary coating of hyalite opal which fluoresces green under UV light . Amethyst crystals from this region are not as lustrous as from other regions but they are well formed and unique in their own way. Some of the crystals have secondary formation of quartz.
