This authentic Aletai meteorite fragment is a piece of one of the most scientifically extraordinary iron meteorites ever discovered. First identified in 1898 under the name Armanty, what was initially believed to be a single mass was later revealed to be part of a much larger story: as new fragments were found across Northern Xinjiang, scientists confirmed that all of these enormous irons belonged to a single ancient cosmic body.
