This exceptional Spirit Quartz specimen features a bold elongated amethyst point projecting dramatically from the cluster. Rich purple-lavender colouration sets this piece apart from the paler Spirit Quartz commonly found at Boekenhoutshoek. Fine druzy crystals cover the surface, while exposed crystal faces reveal visible phantom formations and natural colour zoning.

Phantom crystals form when crystal growth pauses and restarts over time, creating visible layers inside the quartz. These internal features make the specimen especially attractive to serious mineral collectors. The combination of strong geometry, deep colour, and visible growth history gives this specimen outstanding visual and geological appeal.
