Dioptase is one of the world's most desirable copper minerals, celebrated for its intense emerald-green colour, brilliant vitreous lustre and sharply developed crystals. Specimens from Kimbedi are especially prized for their quality and the variety of secondary copper minerals that often occur alongside them.

This specimen is enhanced by delicate fibrous Malachite, which forms soft velvety sprays across parts of the crystal surface, together with tiny pale green spherical aggregates that are most likely Plancheite, a rare secondary copper silicate. These associated minerals formed during later stages of mineralisation and create a beautiful contrast with the geometric Dioptase crystals while adding geological interest.

Combining vibrant Dioptase crystals with associated Malachite and Plancheite on natural matrix, this Dioptase Crystal Cluster is a distinctive and highly collectible specimen from one of the world's classic mineral localities.
