From Ancient Seas to Falling Stars – A Fossil & Meteorite Treasure Chest
Long before humans looked up at the stars, ancient oceans covered much of our planet. Strange creatures thrived beneath the waves while, far beyond Earth, fragments of iron and nickel drifted through space. This extraordinary gift box unites both worlds — four authentic relics spanning hundreds of millions of years, from prehistoric seas to a meteorite that travelled across the cosmos before landing on Earth.
This beautifully cut and polished Ammonite pair reveals the hidden geometry inside one of the ocean’s most elegant extinct creatures. Once floating through ancient seas over 65 million years ago, ammonites used their chambered shells to control buoyancy. When sliced and polished, their internal chambers often display intricate mineralisation — natural crystal patterns formed over millennia. Sourced from Madagascar, this matching pair showcases nature’s perfect spiral and makes a striking centrepiece in any collection.
The Calymene Trilobite lived over 400 million years ago, crawling along the seabed of what is now Morocco’s fossil-rich regions. With its segmented exoskeleton and remarkable preservation, it represents one of Earth’s earliest complex life forms. Trilobites survived multiple extinction events before finally disappearing — making each specimen a symbol of resilience and deep evolutionary history.
Before Megalodon, there was Otodus obliquus — an early apex predator of the Paleocene and Eocene oceans. This powerful triangular tooth, preserved in its natural matrix, dates back roughly 60 to 45 million years. It once belonged to a formidable shark that ruled ancient seas. The natural rock matrix adds authenticity and context, preserving the tooth as it was discovered.
Completing this remarkable collection is a genuine approximate 16gram fragment of the Campo del Cielo meteorite from Argentina. Estimated to have fallen to Earth around 4,000–5,000 years ago, this iron meteorite is far older in origin — formed in the early solar system over 4.5 billion years ago. Composed primarily of iron and nickel, it is literally a piece of outer space you can hold in your hand — older than any fossil in this box.
This is more than a gift — it’s a conversation between ocean and cosmos. Four authentic specimens. Millions — even billions — of years of history. Whether you are starting a collection, searching for an unforgettable gift, or inspiring a future scientist, this treasure chest delivers wonder on a planetary scale.
Own the story of Earth and the stars — or gift it to someone who will never forget it.
