This beautiful Spirit Quartz Cluster from Boekenhoutshoek, Mpumalanga displays a delicate combination of pale lilac amethyst tones and warm citrine-coloured crystal accents. Sparkling druzy quartz crystals coat the surface of the specimen, creating exceptional texture and shimmer across the clustered crystal points. The soft pastel colour palette, combined with honey-gold crystal highlights and a pale cream matrix, gives this piece an elegant and highly collectible appearance.

Also known as Cactus Quartz, Spirit Quartz forms when thousands of tiny secondary quartz crystals grow over larger central amethyst points. This creates the distinctive sparkling, textured surface that makes Spirit Quartz one of South Africa’s most recognisable collector minerals. This specimen features excellent multi-directional crystal growth with well-formed points visible from every angle.

Spirit Quartz is found almost exclusively in the Boekenhoutshoek area of Mpumalanga, South Africa, where some of the finest specimens in the world are discovered. The combination of pale lilac tones with natural citrine-coloured crystal growth is especially attractive, giving the specimen both softness and warmth in appearance.
