This striking Spirit Quartz Cluster from Boekenhoutshoek, Mpumalanga features multiple pale lavender amethyst points covered in sparkling druzy quartz crystals. Also known as Cactus Quartz, this rare South African mineral is highly prized for its unusual crystal formations, natural shimmer, and sculptural appearance. The specimen displays an attractive arrangement of elongated crystal points rising from a contrasting cream and ochre matrix.

Spirit Quartz forms when tiny secondary quartz crystals grow over larger central amethyst points, creating the textured “cactus-like” surface that gives the mineral its alternative name.
